OUR TEAM

At Aqua Paws, we have combined the expertise from a number of diversely educated canine health professionals to bring a wider range of canine health and fitness services under one roof.  From rehab veterinarians and Reiki masters, to hydrotherapists and certified trainers, we have created a unique in-house training program that no professional school has to offer.  Under the supervision of rehab veterinarian Dr. Raceeta MacKenzie we strive to provide a level of care that is second to none.

Dr. Raceeta & Kevin Mackenzie

Dr. Raceeta received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Ontario Veterinary College and went on to take additional post-graduate education from the Canine Rehabilitation Institute (Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist), the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (Certification course in Veterinary Acupuncture), and the Veterinary Chiropractic Learning Centre (Canadian Animal Chiropractic Certification Program). She is dedicated to sharing her knowledge with others, so more people can help pets move better. Dr. Raceeta sees patients at Aqua Paws for mobility assessments and consults to help create customized rehab plans and determine which services are most appropriate for pets with unique mobility needs.

Kevin is affectionately known as our CEO for “chief everything officer”, as he does a little bit of everything behind the scenes to make sure things run smoothly and the rest of us can focus on the hands-on stuff

Fun Fact: Dr. Raceeta and Kevin have a menagerie of 6 pets, including 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 1 parrot!
